| Judge Sunderman was born in Findlay, Ohio where he graduated from Findlay
High School in 1968. He moved to Delaware County, Ohio in 1976 following
graduation from law school. He holds a bachelor degree in Sociology from
the Ohio State University and a Law degree from the University of Toledo.
Judge Sunderman and his wife have two children and six grandchildren. |

| Judge Sunderman practiced law in Delaware County for twenty-five (25) years prior to being elected to Judge of the Delaware Municipal Court in November 2001. He served as a Delaware County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in 1977 and 1978. He was engaged in the private practice of law from 1978 through 2001. |

| Judge Sunderman has served on the Ohio Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism since 2003. He served as Chair of the Commission during 2005 and 2006. He was recently appointed to the Ohio Supreme Court Task Force reviewing the Code of Judicial Conduct. |
