This may be the first time you have ever appeared in Court and it is for this purpose we inform you of your RIGHTS AND OF COURT PROCEDURE.

Effective after June 15, 2008 the Delaware Municipal Court has incorporated by reference Chapter 2710 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Uniform Mediation Act (UMA), and Rule 16 of the Rules of Superintendence for the Courts of Ohio.

All civil matters filed in either the Small Claims or General divisions shall be referred to mediation as provided by Rule 20A which can be viewed in its entirety by clicking the link to Court Rule 20A, below.
